These two BMS’s (Burner Management Systems) are part of a revamp project for a beverage producer in Ethiopia. Each BMS controls and safeguards a steam boiler with oil and gas burners.

Safeguarding is done via safety relays and a dedicated burner control unit. Operation and control is done via a Siemens S7-1200 PLC that communicates with a Simatic HMI on the front of both panels.

The scope of PriCall included a deep investigation of the old system in order to produce new hardware/software engineering, panel manufacturing, hard- and software testing and FAT with client.
